Mount Sinai Sushi

Firstly, the place is dirty! Secondly, some of our sushi rolls didn't look like the sushi roll photos on the menu. When I brought that to the waitress attention, she more or less said "sorry", walked away and that was it! I could've made more of a big deal about it but didn't - it was only lunch and I knew my wife and I would be out of there in less than 15 minutes. While sitting at our table, we noticed several times that the guy making the sushi wearing the glasses makes fun of customers as they walk in the door... making comments in Japanese and the waitresses just laugh. The waitress all stand around by the very back area and chat. We had to ask for water at least 5X. They never came around on their own. That's what happens when you have kids in charge of a restaurant! Needless to say I wasn't impressed. Pick up a broom, grab a mop and clean the place!

My husband and I got the sushi-sashimi deluxe for 2. Nice size pieces of fish. Not a big assortment. Too much salmon/tuna. Next time we'll order differently. Otherwise it's an awesome little treasure.

Its so cheap, and the sushi is decent. If you get the lunch special (ends at 3!) You can get a soup/salad with your meal. You also get free edamame beans so like what more could you want!

The sushi here is absolutely incredible. Explosive flavor, reasonably priced, excellent service. I've been ordering takeout from Mt. Sinai sushi for the past few years as my regular sushi spot, and NEVER gotten a questionable piece of sushi. Fantastic food, don't pass them up.

Excellent sushi. Always taste fresh. The staff always remembers what my wife and I like to drink and have as appetizers and have it brought to the table soon after being seated.

So glad we discovered Mt. Sinai Sushi after so many years of passing the unassuming restaurant by. Inside is fairly simple as well but you’re seated with complimentary edamame and a rock shrimp appetizer by friendly staff. What it lacks in atmosphere is more than made up for with flavor and service.We were pleasantly impressed with the great variety of creative and well-prepared standard and specialty rolls. I think we’ve tried them all now and each one has been absolutely delicious, possibly some of the best sushi I’ve had anywhere. After writing this review I’m craving their sushi!

Sushi is very good and reasonably priced. Great spot for take out. The inside really needs to be cleaned up along with its service. Makes you wonder what the back kitchen looks like 😟

Good food and prices

last night was our first time we visited this restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the courteous service, with the fine food and booze and with the friendly payment. We will no doubt visit there again.

Best rates I've seen for a Sushi Burrito so far. And the rolls are always tasty

Great for takeout, and custom orders, but they really shine when you dine in. They're attentive, accommodating, and everything is fresh and delicious and well presented. It's always a joy to eat there.

Miso soup/Sushi/Service was A+++ incredibly fresh on a Tuesday night there’s a bigger/fancier place across the street which wasn’t nearly as good.

Hands down the best sushi in the area, possibly the best I've had, at a price that can't be beat. The food is always fresh. The service is great. They've literally spoiled me for nearly every other sushi place.

I used to go there every week, but last time, I ordered sushi and I had food poisoning by bacillus cereus. Never going back for sure.

This a hidden gem! It is the best and most reasonable sushi place in the area. Great lunch deals and the special roles can delight any palette.

Amazing food, great service, friendly staff, clean environment. The parking lot isn't great because the other areas can be very crowded and it's right next to a busy bar but there aren't too many patrons hanging around outside. Very relaxing overall but I prefer the Shirley location.
